Minneapolis Climate Action's Commitment to Environmental Equity
Minneapolis Climate Action is committed to addressing the intersection of climate change and economic, social, and racial disparities, and working closely with partners who understand this interface. We realize that the existing infrastructure has created systemic inequity and our programs are designed to express our understanding of this complex issue. We seek to disrupt these institutions in light of the climate emergency, and we seek to do so in a way that is equitable for all in accordance with the 17 Principles of Environmental Justice adopted at the First National People of Color Environmental Leadership Summit.
