
4th Annual People's Movement Assembly- Febuary 20, 2022
We are re-thinking, re-generating at the 4th Annual People's Movement Assembly! Join us for a special time to build a shared climate justice agenda in the community. We’ll hold a climate justice round of lightning talks, special panels, and an engaging community-driven agenda. Our keynote speakers are Carmen Means, Executive Director of Central and Bryant Neighborhoods and Kristel Porter of MN Renewable Now.
We will gather online (via Zoom) and in-person at Liberty's Northside Healing Space in Minneapolis, located at 2100 Emerson Avenue N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. All are welcome! Come to be energized, connected, and invigorated as we imagine a just climate future.

Community Solar Garden 101: How to Save Money and the Planet

How might we empower Environmental Justice communities to voice their injustices for actionable systems change?
Learn more about the history of the East Phillips neighborhood and the community’s vision for the Indoor Urban Farm project.
**Masks and social distancing REQUIRED and bringing camp chairs or blankets is suggested. Free to attend! All are welcome.**

Zero Waste Action Committee Kick Off Meeting- June 1, 2020
Join us as we kick off a Zero Waste Action Committee that gets things done to address our waste and climate crisis and that acknowledges the intersection of climate change, environmental and racial justice and waste. We will collaborate on strategy, tactics and action for individuals; city, state and federal action; and corporate accountability. All are welcome whether you are participating as a citizen, neighbor, nonprofit or government entity.
Via Zoom for now, unless things change by June 1 and we can gather safely. Zoom invite in Eventbrite link.
