Compost & Organics Recycling

We spearheaded Minneapolis organics recycling. The success of the pilot program led to city wide adoption. Learn more about your green organics carts, backyard composting, and other ways to reduce waste.

Renewable Energy

Minneapolis Climate Action has led the way with installing one of the city's first community solar gardens.

Boomerang Bags

After starting Minneapolis's first Boomerang Bag program, MCA became the US Headquarters for the grassroots movement and several Boomerang Bag communities have spread throughout the city and state.

Energy Efficiency

MCA has partnered with Minnesota Center for Energy and Environment to promote home energy audits to conserve home energy use, cut utility bills, and reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
